Hello Kathleen, I just found you on instagram! I'm delving into to gouache too, loving it. Using a beige toned Stillman and Birn spiral bound book. A lifetime ago, when I illustrated, another artist suggested gently brushing pure egg yolk over the surface of a very dry gouache painting. It works!
