Hi Kathleen, I greatly admire your work. I have begun using your limited palette suggestions for plein air. It's Interesting that the Utrecht Cad Lemon uses PY 37 and Gamblin uses PY 35, probably more in the processing that makes them both cooler than Cad light. I have some color questions: 1. Rembrandt Permanant red medium uses pigment PR 255 (Pyrrole scarlet). Do find a significant difference between that and the Permanant Red Deep ( PR254 Pyrrole Red) ? Color temperature with PR 255 slightly more yellow/warmer? 2. Rembrandt Naples Yellow Deep is a compound pigment mix with a different primary yellow. Would you not recommend trying to mix your own Naples yellow using the same pigments that Rembrandt uses? And could you give insight as to when you use the Naples yellow?
