Hi Beth- It took me years to get the courage to work on a painting multiple times...I always thought you had to do it right the first time or it was just another failed painting. One of my mentors told me that I'd have to be willing to sacrifice some of my very best paintings in order to grow, meaning I'd have to take the chance that I might ruin them by trying to make them even better. That's been great advice for me to follow. Plus.......if you wait until the painting is totally dry before you work on it again, you can always just wipe off the new paint and you're back to where you started! Kathleen
